Practice First

It is a new technique of applying makeup that you are trying. So, the best way to do it would be to practice a lot first. But don’t worry we are not asking you to do it with makeup and waste a lot of it. You can use water to test out the machine and its settings first. Practice the use of the nozzle. After you are confident with the flow of the nozzle and your hand, use makeup and practice with it once or twice.

Relax Your Wrist And Face

Don’t be tense when using the gun. Relax your wrist when holding it in the hand. When practicing try not to flex your hand or it will make the makeup blotchy. Along with that, your face should be relaxed too. Don’t tightly shut your eye or flinch when airbrushing even if it’s your instinct.

Prep A Lot

When you apply normal makeup, you clean your face thoroughly and moisturize it. You must do the same before airbrush makeup too. Follow the CTM routine first properly. Then wipe your face with care. Make sure your skin is completely dry before you apply any makeup.

Keep Everything Clean

You need to keep your machines clean. Do not store makeup in it. Try to take as minimum as possible before applying so that none of it goes to waste. Even if a little bit is left wash it out after usage. Also, if you want to switch shades, clean the gun first with a cleaner so that you are able to achieve a flawless look.

Use Your Own Products

Trust your own makeup supplier. Just because you are using another way of applying makeup, doesn’t mean you need to change the products that you are used to with.
